This site runs no analytics or ad scripts and sets no cookies. The only personal data it handles is what you type into the contact form.
The contact form
When you send a message from the contact page, your name, email address and message go to a small server function on this site. It emails them to my inbox at hi@mnthan.com through Resend, an email delivery service, and sends one automatic reply to the address you entered so you know the message arrived. The inbox is hosted by Proton Mail.
The site has no database, so your message is not stored on it. I use your address to reply to you. I don't add it to a mailing list and I don't pass it to anyone else.
To slow down spam, the server function remembers the IP address a message came from for up to ten minutes and the email address for up to an hour. Both are held in memory and are never written to disk.
Resend keeps its own log of the emails it delivers for me, which Resend's privacy policy covers. The inbox falls under Proton's privacy policy.
What your browser stores
Two small values, and neither leaves your browser. mnthan-theme in local storage remembers whether you picked the light or the dark theme. mnthan-wipe in session storage holds the name of the page you clicked while the orange page transition runs, and is removed as soon as the next page loads.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives your IP address and browser details when you request a page and keeps its own logs, which Vercel's privacy policy describes. Fonts, images and scripts are all served from this domain, so loading a page sends nothing to a third party.
Deleting your message
Messages stay in my inbox until I delete them. If you want yours deleted, or want to know what I have from you, email hi@mnthan.com and I'll do it.
